Tuesday Evenings – The History of Christianity – a film and discussion series at the Wellfleet Public Library: Christianity: the First 3,000 Years A Film, Lecture, and Discussion Series – Fall 2014: Origins to the Crusades – Spring 2015: Reformation to the Modern World – Presented by Rev. Paul Cullity. March 3rd – 7pm The Later Reformation; March 10th – 7pm The Rise of the Modern World; March 17th – 7pm Missionaries and New Challenges; March 24th – 7pm God in the Dock – All presentations are held at the Wellfleet Public Library. Each week will include a video excerpt, some commentary on the period and the major themes, and a handout for further reading. We’ll discuss the material together, reflecting the concerns and experiences of all who gather. The BBC produced this award-winning series of documentaries, and they are based on the book of the same name, written by Dr. Diarmaid MacCulloch of Oxford University.
