Capital Improvement Campaign
Beginning in 2024, the First Congregational Church is embarking on a Capital Improvement Campaign to repair and improve church facilities.
61 tasks were identified among three main categories— safety, sustainment, and improvement— in support of our church’s goals.

Many hands make light work.
There are many ways to help by donating your time, talent, and fundraising.

Many of our tasks will require volunteer time input. This may include time doing research and finding good options and prices to complete tasks. It may also mean having volunteers present when professional contractors need access to the church facilities. Finally, it means giving the time, energy, and thought to help drive and complete our Capital Improvement Goals.

Some of our tasks can be completed by skilled hands and strong backs. If you can help move furniture, paint walls, dig in the garden, etc., your talent and effort will be gratefully accepted.

Our goals to maintain and refurbish our historic facilities are estimated to cost approximately $600,000. You can assist us reach this target through donations and by helping organize church fundraiser events.
