Ash Wednesday Service
On Wednesday February 18th, we will mark the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service at 12:00. Come for a time of prayerful reflection, receive the mark of ashes, and prepare yourself for the coming 40 days. All are welcome.
Watch and Discuss (part 5)
Starting January 22nd, join us on Thursday afternoons for a screening and discussion of the comedy series “A Man On the Inside”. This series follows Ted Danson, who plays a recent widower looking for direction in his life, who takes a job with a private investigator to go undercover at a retirement community to investigate a theft. While the series is truly funny, it also explores themes of loss, grief, changes in life, new friendships and relationships, and family dynamics. This series will run for 5 weeks, and while people will get more out of seeing the whole, they can also drop in as available.
Footprints at Duck Creek
In our ongoing series of nature and spirituality walks, we will be joined by Abby Archer on Sunday February 8th at 2pm.
Abby is a Fisheries and Aquaculture Specialist for the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension, and will be leading a walk looking at winter waterfowl. The walk will meet at the church, and head down across Uncle Tim's Bridge and along the waterfront of Duck Creek.
This will be a relatively easy hike, and those with mobility impairments are invited to drive down to the town lot across from Adams Lodge following the introductory remarks.

Our Contemplative Advent worship is a service of piano music, candlelight, prayer, and reflection. May this be for all a time of peace and centering, as we anticipate the joy of Christmas.

Advent Film & Discussion
The Three Wise Men are an instantly recognizable part of any nativity scene. But, despite learning that they came bearing gold, frankincense, and myrrh, we know nothing concrete about these magi, even how many there actually were. Join us on to watch and discuss “The Fourth Wise Man”, an imaginative look at the life and times of another wise man, seeking to make the journey to Bethlehem. This film is based on the novella “The Other Wise Man” by Henry VanDyke, and stars Martin Sheen in the titular role.
